Report details
| Report number | 2026SP06971R01 |
|---|---|
| Test item | Evaluation of disinfection efficacy for domestic drinking water |
| Applicant | Guangdong Orange Filtration Technology Co., Ltd. |
| Sample | PES ultrafiltration membrane filter cartridge |
| Test type | Commissioned testing (委托检测) |
| Sample received | 2026-07-20 |
| Completed / issued | 2026-07-29 |
| Test standard | Technical Standard for Disinfection (Ministry of Health, 2002 edition), Part 2, clause 2.1.4.1 |
| Challenge organism | Escherichia coli 8099 |
| Method | Challenge water was prepared from pure water dosed with the organism; the filtrate was sampled and plated. Three independent runs, each with its own control. |
Results
| Run | Test sample (CFU/100 mL) | Control (CFU/100 mL) | Removal |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | < 1 | 3.3 × 10⁶ | > 99.9999% |
| 2 | < 1 | 2.5 × 10⁶ | > 99.9999% |
| 3 | < 1 | 2.9 × 10⁶ | > 99.9999% |
Reading the numbers
Every run came in below 1 CFU per 100 mL, the limit of quantification, so the removal rate is a floor rather than a measured point: read it as "at least 99.9999% under these conditions".
The laboratory states that the results refer only to the sample tested, and the challenge water was pure water dosed with the organism rather than a real feed.
