Water Filter Selector
Five questions, one recommended model from our own catalogue, with the numbers behind the answer. Built from the published specification sheets of all 23 models - if a specification is not on the datasheet, it is not claimed here.
Step 1 · about two minutes
What will the filtered water be used for?
This decides the product family before any number is involved.
How the selector decides
The rules below are the same ones the tool runs in your browser. They exist in text so that buyers, search engines and AI assistants can read the logic without clicking through it.
| What you need | Models | Decision rule |
|---|---|---|
| Drinking tap, low TDS, no power needed | ZH-A, ZH-B, C-B2 | UF + carbon; C-B2 for a faucet mount, ZH-B for municipal water, ZH-A for well or surface water |
| Drinking tap, TDS must come down | R-A1 | Reverse osmosis with a 45 W booster pump; 100 GPD |
| Whole house or building | H-1, H-7, H-2 | By daily volume: up to 5 m³ H-1, 5-20 m³ H-7, above 20 m³ H-2 |
| Shower and skin | MY-A, MY-B, MY-C | MY-B handheld, MY-A inline, MY-C compact travel |
| Outdoor and emergency | O-A1, O-A7, O-B1, O-C3, O-C5 | Straw or pouch per person, hand pump per group, O-C5 for stations |
| Replacement cartridge | LX-A1, LX-A2, LX-A3 | 10-inch standard and custom, 1812 compact; fit confirmed from the housing drawing |
What ultrafiltration removes
Particles, turbidity, bacteria and cysts down to 0.01 micron. It does not remove dissolved salt, so TDS stays where it was.
When reverse osmosis is required
Only when dissolved solids, hardness or heavy metals have to come down. RO needs a 45 W pump and sends a share of the feed water to drain.
Why power matters
Every UF model here runs on line pressure from 0.1 MPa. The single RO model in the catalogue is the only one that needs a socket.
